Mary McDonnell

 

Mary Eileen McDonnell, born April 28, 1952, is an American actress who appears on the stage, on television and in film. She was awarded Academy Award nominations for her role as Stands With A Fist in Dances with Wolves and May-Alice Culhane in Passion Fish. McDonnell is best known for her performances in Battlestar Galactica as President Laura Roslin and First Lady Marilyn Whitmore, and Rose in Donnie Darko. McDonnell played Captain Sharon Raydor on seasons 5-7 of TNT's series The Closer. She also played in Major Crimes, the spin-off series that airs on TNT's network, as the Commander Sharon Raydor.

Aisha jamila hinds was born in America and is best-known for her role in The Shield. Since her debut in 2003 she has proved her versatility as an actress, delivering remarkable performances in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome.
