Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel Sofer (born December 2, 1968) is an American actress who is known for her role in daytime television, episodic guest appearances, as well as made-for-television movies. Sofer was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her performance in the role of Lois Cerullo of the soap opera General Hospital. She played the role Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, from 2013 to 2022.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), an Orthodox Rabbi and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).





 She moved with her father as well as her brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a youngster. The family was located in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. In the following years, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer resided in North Bergen, New Jersey in the town where her father was rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. After graduating from North Bergen High School she was a student at Montclair State College.





 Career



 Television during the daytime



 Sofer first appeared on Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. She first appeared in 1993 as a manager of a band. Her first television role was that of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap drama that revolved around Loving (1988-91).
